"Backorder situation went way smoother than I expected"
I had a couple cards sitting on backorder with Star City Games, and I wasn’t totally sure what to expect because I’ve had backorders from other shops turn into a whole thing before. I think I placed the order while I was sorting through a deck list at my kitchen table, so I wasn’t in a huge rush, but I still like knowing what’s going on. They sent updates when there were changes, and once everything was ready, the order shipped without any drama. No confusing emails, no surprise issues, nothing weird. Just a easy experience overall, and I’d definitely order from them again.

"Cards looked good to me"
I grabbed a few singles, and for what I was expecting, everything seemed totally legit. The condition matched up with what was listed, and I didn’t notice anything that made me question authenticity, which was my main concern. If you’re just picking up a few cards like I was, I’d say it’s a solid experience and I’d order again.

"Sealed boxes arrived exactly how you'd want"
I ordered a couple of sealed products from Star City Games, they showed up just right. The shrink wrap looked clean, the boxes didn’t have any weird dents, and there were no signs of tampering. What more can you really ask for with sealed product? The shipping box was packed well enough too, so everything arrived in good shape. No complaints from me.

I paid with my card and it went through fast with no strange issues. At first I was just like, okay, normal checkout, whatever. But then the order email showed up right away and suddenly I was like, alright, that was actually smooth. Felt secure enough too.

I ordered some cards and was surprised by how quickly they shipped out. The only small thing I’ll say is I wasn’t totally sure when to expect them at first, but they ended up arriving sooner than I thought anyway. Everything was packaged safely and showed up in great shape, so overall I’m really happy with the order.

"Shockingly smooth tournament day"
I played in a tournament through Star City Games i was kind of blown away by how smoothly everything ran. Pairings went up fast, the staff actually seemed like they knew exactly what was happening, and rounds started pretty much on time, which felt like a small miracle. There were a ton of players, but somehow it never turned into total chaos. I had a really good day and would absolutely play another event with them

"Loyalty points actually help"
I’ve been ordering from StarCityGames.com for a while now, and the loyalty program is nice?? I’m usually buying stuff I’d get anyway, mostly singles and sleeves, so getting points back on those orders feels like a solid little bonus.
It’s not some massive game-changer or anything, but it definitely adds up and makes bigger orders hurt a bit less?? The site is easy enough to use too, so yeah, no real complaints from me.

"Solid Packaging, No Complaints"
My cards showed up safe and the packaging was really sturdy. It took me a minute to get everything open, but i’d rather deal with that than damaged cards. Based on this one order, it seems like they take shipping seriously, so I’m happy.

My first impression of Star City Games was solid, and after ordering from them a few times, that hasn’t really changed. The prices seemed fair right away, especially compared to a few other card sites I was looking at. What stood out to me most is that the value feels honest. The cards showed up in the condition they were listed as, and I didn’t feel like I was paying too much for the stuff I needed. Shipping wasn’t super fast or anything, but it was smooth and I had no issues. Overall, I’ve been happy with my orders and would definitely use them again when I’m building decks.

I got clear emails when my order was packed, shipped, and out for delivery, so I didn’t have to just sit around wondering what was going on. Everything showed up when they said it would, which I really appreciated. It’s simple, but it just makes buying cards feel way less stressful.

"Canceling wasn’t the headache I expected"
I had to cancel an order and was expecting it to be a pain, because this kind of thing usually turns into a back-and-forth mess. Surprisingly, support replied quickly and took care of it without making me jump through hoops. I still hate having to deal with cancellations at all, but at least this one was handled better than I thought it would be...

"Super easy to update my account!!"
I needed to update a few account details on Star City Games, it was way easier than I expected!!

I had forgotten one of my login details, but the account section was simple to navigate and didn’t make me feel stuck or annoyed. I got my address and email updated quickly without having to click around forever.

It’s a small thing, but I really appreciate when a site makes basic account stuff painless. Everything worked like it should, so I’m happy to give it 5 stars!!

"Easy signup, but the confirmation threw me off"
Signing up for the event was super quick and painless. I was like, nice, that was easy. Then I hit the confirmation page and suddenly I’m squinting at the screen wondering if I actually registered or not. So yeah, overall it worked fine, but that last page could definitely be clearer.

I had a small stack of stuff sitting around for a while and finally decided to stop procrastinating and send it in. I poked through the buylist, added everything, and it was straightforward. After that, I kind of forgot about it for a bit, but the trade credit showed up faster than I expected. Overall, easy process and I got paid quick.
